I believe that everyone can benefit from watching this video, and relate to it as well. The speaker talks upon the advanatges of playing sports, socially and academically. As softball is a huge part of my identity, I am aware it isnt for everyone else. The Ted Talk is inclusive to all sports and physical activity benefits, not just softball. All sports and activities have lessons they teach us, no matter what court or field your on. These qualities we can from sports are huge impacts to our identities, and that is why I think everyone can find themselves relating to this video.

    As I played a sport in high school, I can definitely relate to this speech. Although javelin was a more individual sport event, we were still competing as a team. There were moments where one of my throws could have a large impact on the team's overall score. These were certainly learning moments that have carry over qualities to life in general.
